It’s nearing the end of the year and I have had a clear out of my shoe wardrobe. Some of my shoes and boots have seen the end of their days and as much as I hate to do it, they were ceremoniously dumped as they were getting holes and becoming unglued! They were mostly my flats that have endured daily school runs over the past year or so…
My favourite heels have remained pretty much perfect – I have stored and mollycoddled them – being worn only when my journey by foot involves minimal walking outside!
My friends at ShoeZone have come up with this terrific infograph with great hints and tips to keep your footwear looking in pristine condition. I have personally tried most of these hacks and give them a big thumbs up! My personal tip to add is to use matching coloured nail polish to paint over scuff marks on heels – just as well black nail enamel is on trend as I use tons of it on the heels of my work shoes!
Which shoe hacks have you used in the past? Have you got any shoe hacks of your own? Do share, I’d love to know…
