Author Kristina Higgins has just launched her book tour and I was lucky enough to have had the chance to read this book in advance. Although Kristina’s book was supplied to me for reviewing purposes, all opinions expressed are 100% mine.

MY VIEWPOINT

Where do I start, without giving too much away?! Perhaps I’ll start by saying that this book took me by surprise. In a great way that is ! Yes, the story is about the Core Four…. School friends who reunite after several years. But it is much more than that. It’s a story into the dynamics of friendship, of relationships, love, of different families, about growing old, getting sick, life in general. Kristan has managed to weave several stories and scenarios seamlessly into one novel, capturing my attention from the start, with twists and turns that I didn’t expect. What those stories and twists are, I’m not saying …. What I will say is that this book kept me riveted to the end. It is a novel I thoroughly enjoyed and have already recommended the book to my avid reader friends.
